| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
Forest Department under the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change is implementing a project entitled “Eco-tourism Development and Conservation of Bangubandhu Awarded Halla Pakhibari Project” at Halla, Barlekha, Moulvibazar. The consulting services (“the Services” ) include seasonal bird population estimation, prepare long term conservation action plan/guide line for Halla Pakhibari, formation of community based management committee and community patrol group, preparation of training manual on bird conservaton, ecotourism and conduct training to the local community |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |
: |
• The interested consulting firm must have the followings on the basis of which the EoI will be evaluated
• Minimum 10(ten) years of proven work experience in the field of forestry, eco-tourism and wildlife/bird survey and/research activities especially in the wetlands.
• The Firm should have valid Government registration with experienced office staffs.
• The Firm should have experience in dealing with the professional consultants.
• The Firm should have experience of successfully completion of minimum 2(two) wildlife/bird survey and/research works, preparation of conservation action plan/management plan for governments/autonomous organizations/donor agencies/UN organizations/ international NGOs in Bangladesh and other developing countries.
• The firm should be financially sound & solvent having a sufficient amount (minimum BDT. 25 Lakh) of liquid assets i.e., working capital or credit line(s) supported by competent documents.
• The firm must have valid up-to-date Trade License, Income Tax and VAT Certificates
N.B: Key and Non-Key Experts will not be evaluated at the shortlisting stage. |

• Interested firm must provide documents (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, capacity, logistics etc. in support of their experience and qualifications demonstrating that they are fully qualified to perform the services along with the EoI.
• Registration of firm, up to date Trade Licence, Income Tax Certificate, VAT certificate, Bank Solvency Certificate, Audit Report of the last three years, Annual Turnover of last 3 years, JV agreement/letter of intent (if applicable).
• Interested firms are requested to submit their EoI in 2 (Two) sets, 1 (one) original, & 1(one) duplicate in a sealed envelope and externally marked title of the service must be on or before the specified date and time.
• Only short-listed firms will be allowed to submit RFP(Request for Proposal). The details Terms of Reference (ToR) for the assignment is available at the office of the PE and PD. |
