| Brief Description of Assignment |

The Roads and Highway Department (RHD) received fund for Selecting National of National Consultant for the Operation of Traffic Management Center (TMC) under "Improving the Reliability and Safety in National Highway Corridors of Bangladesh by Introduction of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS)" The objective of the service is to provide Management and Engineer-level Staff for onsite support in the TMC and managing field device during working hours and additional overtime and/or manpower when needed. The major services to be Provided by the Consultants will include but not limited to the followings-
• Ensure safety and security of all computerized data, information, files and documents.
• Administer and maintain TMC servers, periodically updating software and configuration as well as the copies of the systems and databases.
• Ensure full operation of network utility procedure (Active Directory Administration) & security attributes, establishing directories, drive-mapping, configuring network printer & providing user access.
• Train staff on the use of the office intranet, network sharing and help them to archive officials documents/e-mails, and support in the implementation of the electronic archive of all documents.
• Troubleshoot and monitor network problems.
• Maintain documentation of processes, procedures and troubleshooting guides including tracking vendor service requests through completion.
• Test and verify newly purchased ICT equipment against approved quotations received from suppliers and confirm the purchased equipment are as per approved quotation
• Perform regular site visits to assess the status of Field Devices and peripherals and fix any arising incidents and provide reports thereof. |

Interested Consultancy firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services which includes firm’s registration certificates and related legal document, brochures (Company profile with management performance and personnel etc.), description similar assignments, experience in rendering similar service in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, supporting documents showing financial capacity, History of Litigation (if any) etc. Firm may constitute Joint Venture to enhance their chances
of qualification. |

Submission of EOI should be done in closed format bearing the Name and Address of Firm(s), EOI Name & Date and be addressed to the EOI issuing authority in 02 (two) copies; 01 (one) marked as “ORIGINAL” and other as “COPY” in separate envelopes in the form of book binding. Both the “ORIGINAL’ and “COPY” shall have to be covered within a single envelope. The applicant shall have to mention the page number serially in every page of submitted EOI document. |
