INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
The main assignments are to
i) Prepare an inventory of existing rubber dams in Bangladesh containing information of allied structures, general specifications, present status including problem arise during operation and maintenance;
ii) Carry out performance evaluation of rubber dams in context of hydraulic performance, agricultural/irrigation performance, socio-economic and environmental performance;
iii) Recommend appropriate modification for improving performance of non-functional or poorly performing rubber dams;
iv) Recommend minimum Twenty (20) Nos of rubber dam to construct in future with drawing, design, estimate, feasibility study and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA). |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

The proposal should have content (submit) at least the following information:
i) The consulting firm/firms must have at least 15(fifteen) years consulting experience ;
ii) Name and background of the firm with general and similar experience including firm’s brochure;
iii) List of relevant professional staff, their qualification and experience;
iv) Experience in conducting at least 02(two) feasibility study projects in last 5 (five) years preferably with agricultural development organization;
v) Experience in conducting at least 02(two) post project evaluation/ project performance evaluation in last 5 (five) years preferably with agricultural/ water development organization;
vi) The consulting firm/firms must have experience of 05(five) environmental, economical and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) of Barrage/Dam/Irrigation development projects;
vii) The consulting firm/firms must have at least 15(fifteen) years’ experience in Satellite Image Analysis and Geographic Information System;
viii) Summary of experience of the firm in similar type of works (Completed during last 10 years and currently in progress) with client name, contract value, details of the task. Date of start and completion should be mentioned;
ix) Availability of resources and demonstration capacity of the firm to carry out the assignment;
x) In case of formation of JV, the name of them with relevant experience in specific assignment;
xi) Company’s Incorporation Certificate. Updated Trade License, VAT Registration Certificate, Income Tax Certificate, Bank Solvency Certificate, Audit Report/Turnover Report of the Company, Agreement of Joint Venture (where applicable). |
