INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
• The Trainings will mainly be organized in ITBBR, AERE, Savar, Dhaka.
• Minimum 25 trainees will undergo training for 15 days- Two times during the project tenure on Basic concept of
Human Tissues & Tissue Collection; Tissue Processing, Tissue Banking, Microbiology, Immunology; Different types
of Sterilizations & Quality control etc.
• Minimum 15 trainees will undergo training for 45 days- Once during the tenure on Human Tissue Structures and
Functions, Tissue grafts and regenerations, Infectious Disease dynamics, Host-Microbe interaction, Histology,
Pathology and Innate immunity. Microbiological quality control, Role of Clinical & Research Tissue Banks in human
health etc.
• Minimum 20 trainees will undergo training for 12 days- Once during the tenure on Sterility assurance & radiation dose
validation, Infections & Pathogenesis; Immunochemistry & host response, Immunity & grafts rejection etc.
• Minimum 15 trainees will undergo training for 21 days- Once during the tenure on radiation processing, Microbial
Bioburden, Sterility assurance level (SAL), Radiation & Antibiotic Resistance, Microbiological quality control,
Clinical applications of tissue grafts etc.
• Minimum 12 trainees will undergo training for 30 days- Once during the tenure on Bioburden & nosocomial infection,
Radiation processing and Sterilization; Tissue dynamics-chemistry and Immuno-histopathology; cell & Tissue
Engineering; Degenerative diseases & Regenerative medicine; Outlook into research, development and applications of
gene, cell & immunotherapy etc.
• Sufficient training materials, allowances & refreshments have to provide for the trainees |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

• The firm must have five years of work experience.
• The Firm Must be financially capable.
• The firm should have experience in organizing at least fifteen training programs over the last five years.
• A brief outline of the training contents and plans within 350 words must be included with EOI
• EOI should have minimum 15 (fifteen) renowned trainers (3 for each training) with postgraduate degree having at least
three years of work experience in human tissue banking & biomaterial-related research fields.
• One-page biodata with contact details of the above trainers/resource persons among scientists/technologists should be
included in EOI.
• Minimum five trainers (one for each training) must be from the EU or equivalent country, contact details of all the
trainers must be included in EOI |
