| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
On behalf of the ICT Division, the Department of Information and Communication Technology as an executive agency has taken the initiative to celebrate National Sheikh Russell Day 2022 based on physical and online platforms nationwide and internationally on 18 October 2022. The event will showcase Biography of Sheikh Russel and Bangabandhu, achievement of Digital Bangladesh, Arrangement of Inauguration and Medal distribution program, host seminar/webinars and arrange Concert for Peach and Justice. Extended media coverage (Online & Offline), Live broadcast, PR Activities and other related activities will be carried out to make the event visible and attractive on a standard plan and to promote participation. DoICT intends to shortlist Bangladeshi Event Management and related Firms/Companies who shall be responsible for organizing and managing events from conception to completion stage. |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |
: |
(1) Reputed event management and related Firms/Company/organizations with overall minimum 08 (Eight) years of experience in organizing events, seminars, cultural events (indoor/outdoor) and related services or supplies as prime contractor.
(2) The Firm must have a minimum experience of arranging at least 02 (Two) national/ international VVIP/VIP events within last 04 (Four) years, each with a value of at least BDT 1.10 crore (One Crore Ten Lac) only.
(3) The firm must have BDT 1.20 crore (One Crore Twenty Lac) amounts of liquid assets, i.e., or credit line(s) (As Prescribed Format).
(4) The firms must have sufficient technical resources and facilities available to materialize the virtual platform alongside the traditional physical infrastructures for the mega event.
(5) The firm must have Team Leader, Event Director, Strategy and Event Planning Manager, Event Manager, Media Manager/Creative Manager, Marketing Manager, Event & Logistics Coordinator, Creative Graphics Designer, Software and Website developer, ICT Specialists, and other relevant posts in relevant filed of expertise. The firm should provide a list of key experts as mentioned. No CV is required at EoI Stage. CV will be evaluated at RFP Stage.
(6) The firms should have yearly turnover of at least BDT 5.00 (Five) crores
(7) The firms/companies should furnish an undertaking to the effect that the firm has not been blacklisted in Bangladesh during last 03 (Three) year period.
(8) The firms/companies must submit updated audit-reports of last 03 (Three) consecutive years.
(9) The firms/companies must submit Up to date Valid License, income tax certificate, VAT registration and other legal documents.
(10) Documents demonstrating the management and operational capacity of the firms / joint venture’s (Brochures, Company Profile and other documents describing company expertise, strength and experience, core functions, products and services, similar assignments or project experience, availability of relevant professional staff and experience among applicant’s staff/resources to carry out this assignment).
(11) JVCA is allowed as per PPA-2006 & PPR-2008 (Rule 54); However, all the firms of JVCA must be Bangladeshi.
A shortlist of firms/JVs will be prepared upon evaluation of EOIs of the eligible applicants and 'Request for Proposal' document will be issued in their favor. A firm/JV will be selected using the Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) method. |

No electronic copy will be accepted. The EOI notice will also be available in the websites www.doict.gov.bd and CPTU website. |
