INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
The consulting services (“the Services”) include but not limited to:
a. identifying the unique characteristics of the product of micro-enterprises and highlight them to create demand in the market;
b. creating brand image of the product based on environment and other protocols that are followed in the production process and value chain;
c. making people aware about the benefits of the safe or environment friendly products which use safe/environment friendly raw material with no harmful elements and grow sense of smartness in choosing such products;
d. implementing the branding and marketing related activities of the micro-enterprises and their products.
The assignment will require an estimated of 63 professional staff-months and also non-key experts’ input as per the requirement mentioned in the Terms of Reference (TOR). The assignment is scheduled to be completed within a period of nine (09) months, and expected to be started in October 2022. |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |
: |
A Consulting Firm or Joint Venture with broad experience in conducting similar assignment is needed. The firm should have:
- Overall 07 (seven) years of experience in the field of branding and marketing of products or services nationally through
- Experience of performing similar assignments under development partner (The World Bank/ UN Agencies etc.) funded projects
- Experience in branding of micro and cottage enterprise products, and implementing campaign at grass root level will be added advantage
- Experience of implementing full-fledged marketing and branding campaign (360 degree campaign) like TVC (television commercials), RDC (Radio Commercials), Press/Print media, Digital (Facebook, and other digital), Events/Activation, Outdoor (shop sign, Billboards), Trade marketing (Shelving and Space management in outlets) etc.
- Demonstrated experience in product sales, organizing events and fairs, PR and media coverage, modern trade and visual merchandizing in outlets, preparing communication material and impart training on technical issues of subsector
- Must have valid Trade License, TIN, and VAT Certificate
- Availability of appropriate professional skill among staff and Availability of other necessary resources
- Strong Financial capability to carry out the assignment |

Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The shortlisting criteria are: General experience, Experience in similar assignments (full fledged 360 degree marketing and brand campaign in the field of launching products or brands or services), Experience in the development partner (The World Bank/ UN Agencies) funded projects, and Financial Capability.
