INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
Enhancing Digital Government and Economy (EDGE) Project now invites eligible applicants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Applicants are invited to provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (complete CV with other details as required). The consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in World Bank’s Procurement Regulation for IPF Borrowers (July 2016, Revised November 2017, August 2018 and November 2020).
Interested applicants may obtain the Terms of Reference (TOR) from the office of the EDGE Project during office hours or download from the website www.bcc.gov.bd.
Expressions of Interest (EOI) shall be submitted 02 (two) hard copies and soft copy (CD/DVD) in a sealed envelope by April 26, 2022, 2.00 pm and be clearly marked “Application for the post ……”. The authority has the right to accept or reject any or all the applications.
Only selected candidates will be requested for interview or hands on experience test.

| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

? At least 10 years of work experience with 5 years of working experience in the ICT sector.
? Proven working experience in project management
? Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in leading the monitoring, evaluation, and analysis of donor development projects.
? Extensive experience working with donor funded projects. Working experience in similar position with GOB projects
? At least ten (10) years of general experience out of which four (4) years as a Policy Specialist in Government or development partner funded projects.
? Working experience in similar position with ICT and eGovernment projects will be preferred.
? S/he must have a minimum of three years of work experience in public sector financial management. The incumbent should have a good understanding of Govt. accounting system. Other experience could be added advantage. Experience in IDA/ donor funded projects is preferable.
? Fully conversant with and have had hands on experience in application software and also in Computerized Accounting System.
? Overall 5 years of experience in the ICT sector in different technological initiatives.
? At least 3 years hands-on work experience in R&D in different technologies.
? Experience in working with the Government sector / Development partner organizations will be given preference.
? Experience in Innovation project monitoring and mentoring.
? Practical experience in embedded system, IoT, Robotics, CAD design, mobile and web application design and development.
? Experience in coordinating technical workshops, challenge competitions and training.
? Certifications on IoT, UX design and other emerging technology related skills will be given preference.
? At least 3 years working experience in a similar position.
? Fluency in written and spoken both English and Bangla.
? Excellent ICT & computer skills.
? Strong administrative and analytical skills.
? Ability establishing and maintaining good working relationships to facilitate work goals.
? Demonstrated results-oriented approach to work.
