INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
Software Testing Engineer will be required to carry out rigorous testing of all delivered modules in collaboration with nominated consultants which includes: Assessing testing requirements according to GRP module needs; Create both manual test cases and automated test scripts for specific requirements/features and execute according to plan for the GRP modules; Carry out different test (Performance, Security, Load test etc.) using standard testing tools; Ensure re-testing of reported bugs and close out test runs; Maintain effective communication with the software engineers on project limitation, capability, performance requirement and hardware changes; Benchmarking software and hardware on a weekly basis and generate reports; Preparing testing requirements for SQTC; Analyzing testing reports from nominated consultants and Government Testing Center; Preparing standard testing reports; Assist in implementation of GRP software in different stakeholders as per plan; Such other functions as may be assigned by higher authority. |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

At least B. Sc. in CSE degree or equivalent from a renowned university. Experience: The candidate must have minimum 5 years of progressive working experience in testing on software industry; Working experience with test management tools; Working experience in Different types of testing tools (Automated Testing Tools, Load Testing Tools, Cross-browser Testing Tools, API Testing Tools, Security Testing Tools etc.); Experience in standard testing tools like Selenium, Jmeter, JWebUnit, Bugzilla, SoapUI is a plus; Working experience with open source testing tools; Working experience on testing in Java based systems; Vendor certification on testing will be given preference; Person having experience on ERP testing will be given preference; In case of otherwise exceptional candidates, the above mentioned requirements may be relaxed. |

Applicants shall have to submit EOI with their CV and forwarding letter in sealed envelope labeled with Individual Consultant for one of the above mentioned positions under Bangladesh e-Government ERP Project to the office of the undersigned.
