| Brief Description of Assignment |

The main objectives of the Consultancy Services to prepare the detailed structural design and drawing, Cost Estimate Including Construction Supervision to establish Nagarbari Port including all parmanent infrastructures and technical fasilities. The specific objectives are to:
The Services are sub-divided into two phases, the main objectives of which are:
Design Phase-I: = 6 (Six) months
? Preparetion of detail Architectural master plan with 3D view, animation following the DPP items;
? Detailed Architectural and Structural design, drawing, working drawing of all Infrastructures to be constructed following soil test report;
? Detailed cost estimate as per packages under works and goods of procurement plan of DPP;
? Preparition of standard tender document of the packages with BoQ which describe in DPP and etc.
Construction Supervision Phase-II: 30 (thirty) months
? Consruction Supervision on Project Period for the Establishment of port facilities at Nagarbari, Bera, Pabna. |

The Firm is expected to have experience in designing of heavy type RCC Jetty of port operation facilities and different types of building, roads etc. The Consulting Firm should have 10 years’ experience in various types of civil Engineering Consultancy works but preference will be given to the Firm(s) who have experience in doing similar types of works.
The Consulting Firm needs to deploy following experts and supporting staff :
(a) Team leader (Sr. Structural Engineer)
(b) Structural Engineer /Design Engineer (Civil)
(c) Architect/Terminal Planner
(d) Geotechnical Engineer/Foundation engineer
(e) Mechanical Engineer
(f) Electrical Engineer
(g) Road/Pavement Engineer (PE)
(h) Jr. Structural Engineer/ Jr. Design Engineer (Civil)
(i) Jr. Architect/ Jr. Terminal Planner
(j) Residence Engineer (Civil)
(k) Material / Quality Control Engineer
(l) Site Engineer (Civil)

Duration of the work will be 36 (thirty Six) months (Design Phase-I = 6 (Six) months & 30 (thirty) months). BIWTA now invites eligible Firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Firms are invited to provide information and documents (brochures, description of similar assignments, experiences, Organogram/Manpower setup of the firm, financial capacity (Audit report, turn over etc.), qualification and experience of all experts and staff, trade license, VAT, income tax certificate etc.) indicating that they are qualified to perform the services.
