| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
The Consultant shall provide Consulting Services for
1) Installation of a data, information and knowledge management system; including a needs assessment, the establishment of a framework for relevant external data acquisition, the design of a knowledge management system, the development of guidelines and the selection of at least 5 infrastructure types for detailed climate impact assessments and assignment of national (or international) institutes as well as 10 infrastructure types for rapid assessment.
2) Adjustment of standards, procedures and guidelines;
including the establishment of an inventory of existing relevant internal guidelines; adjustment of relevant guidelines and procedures; development of guidelines for the design and selection of building materials (incl. ICT-based tools); development and implementation of training in cooperation with the LGED training unit; provision of a helpdesk and review and adjustment of existing project development rules and procedures.
3) Mainstreaming of climate proofing within the LGED structure;
Including the development of a detailed mainstreaming concept; the design, installation and maintenance of an interactive information, knowledge and learning platform; training needs assessments and motivation and support measures to foster the LGED staffs’ compliance.
4) Institutionalisation of CReLIC; including the establishment of CReLIC as preliminary staff organization; procurement of smaller construction work; development of a business plan for CReLIC and training and coaching of the CReLIC management staff.
