| Brief Description of Assignment |

Bangladesh Tourism Board, the National Tourism Organization (NTO) under the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism intends to hire an International Consulting Firm to prepare a Tourism Master Plan for Bangladesh. The Assignment of the Consulting Firm includes but not limit to
a) Prepare a short-term, mid-term and long-term Strategic Tourism Master Plan for development of tourism in Bangladesh with emphasis on identification of Tourism Zones, Destination Development, Tourism Cluster and Circuit Development, Product Development and Diversification, Marketing and Promotion, Tourism Infrastructure and Superstructure, Investment for Tourism Development, Economic Impact of tourism, Human Resource Development, Capacity Building for Tourism Management and Institutional Framework considerring Legislation and Regulation, Socio-cultural and Environmental Impacts.
b) Detailed structural planning of the identified destinations, zones and existing tourist sites including infrastructure and superstructures and connectivity.
c) Short-term, mid-term and long-term action plan, preparation of project and investment bid documents, and mechanism to monitor the progress of the implementation to develop Bangladesh as one of the premier tourist destinations in the world.

a) Brochures submitted by the Applicants summarizing their facilities and areas of expertise in preparation of tourism master plan.
b) Descriptions of similar assignments of tourism master plan
c) Experience in similar operating environments and conditions
d) Availability of appropriate experience and professional qualifications among applicant’s staff and adequate resources( manpower, equipment, software etc) to carry out the assignment;
e) Managerial strength and financial capacity;
