INFORMATION FOR TENDERER

(a) If the Bidder is a manufacturer:
(i) Financial Capability
The Bidder shall furnish documentary evidence that it meets the following financial requirement(s):
(1) Average Annual Turnover
Bidder shall have average annual turnover of at least USD 2 (two) million or equivalent over a period of best 03 (three) years within last 05 (five years) prior to the deadline date for bid submission.
Bidder shall submit audited financial reports along with the bid if Annual Turnover remains mentioned in the audited financial reports, or if not required by the law of the Applicant’s country other financial statements (third party statements enough to substantiate annual turnover) or payment receipts acceptable to the Employer, for the last five (5) years to substantiate average annual turnover.
(2) Liquid Asset
The Bidder at the time of bid submission should have at least the amount of USD 01 (one) million or equivalent liquid asset or working capital or credit facilities or their combination for executing the proposed contract for supply of Goods.
Bidder as a Joint Venture
In case of joint venture, all parties combined must meet the financial requirement stipulated in (1) and (2) above. While, each partner of the joint venture must meet at least 25% of the financial requirements as mentioned above.
(ii) Experience and Technical Capacity
The Bidder shall furnish documentary evidence to demonstrate that it meets the following experience requirement(s):
(1) The Bidder has successfully completed design, manufacture, test, supply and commissioning of at least six (6) patrol boats substantially similar to the type specified in the "Schedule of Requirements" within the last 5 years prior to the deadline date of bid submission. All of these Boats should have been in successful operation.
If the Bidder does not on its own meet the requirement of having ‘designed’ the Boats, this requirement may be met by the nominated sub-consultant of the Bidder. In such event, the qualifications of the nominated sub-consultant shall be submitted with the Bid, duly signed by the said sub-consultant to evidence compliance with the requirement of ‘experience’ specified in the preceding sub-paragraph. However, in case the Bidder is a JV, requirement of design experience can be met by the JV Partner.
(b) If Bidder is not a manufacturer:
(i) If a Bidder is not a manufacturer, but is offering the Goods on behalf of the Manufacturer under Manufacturer's Authorization Form (Section IV, Bidding Forms), the Manufacturer shall demonstrate the above qualifications a(i)(1), a(i)(2), a(ii)(1); AND
(ii) the Bidder shall demonstrate that it (Bidder) has successfully completed supply of at least USD 1.5 million in not more than 2 (two) contracts of substantially similar boats as specified in the "Schedule of Requirements” within the last 05 (five) years prior to the bid submission deadline date. All of these Boats should have been in successful operation.
The Bidder shall submit with its Bid list of all contracts/Purchase Orders for Boats substantially similar to the type specified in the "Schedule of Requirements" supplied during the last five years, and the present status of supply & installation against each order, using the format for Performance Statement given in Section IV – Bidding Forms, |
