e-GP new data centre goes live
Tuesday, August 22, 2017
The new wider-capacity data centre of the e-GP system has recently gone live upon its commissioning, data migration and testing at the Central Procurement Technical Unit and at the National Data Centre of Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC).
Data migration and testing was successfully done between August 10 and 13, 2017 by the e-GP technical experts at CPTU.
The new data centre has enhanced the capacity of the e-GP site (www.eprocure.gov.bd) for convenience of its users and stakeholders.
The CPTU is implementing e-GP with World Bank support as part of a government directive for full digitization of public procurement.
Digitization of public procurement is a milestone achievement in the way of building a Digital Bangladesh as envisioned by the government.
